Zindagi, the newly introduced channel has taken the Indian television and it's viewers by the storm. And Zindagi Gulzar Hai, an already superbly famous Pakistani drama serial seems to have won itself hundreds of more fans. Me included!
Statuses about this show can be found spurted all over Facebook and it seems like everybody is glued to it these days.
And why wouldn't they?
It has so many good pointers.
1. It's a contemporary romance drama, for starters. And if you're someone like me who ‘dig’ good romance dramas, then let me delight you with some news, there are moments in the show that make you melt like cheese!
2. It has a brilliant storyline. And when I say brilliant, I mean brilliant. It is so relatable! Just so much more closer to reality than our shows.
3. Then like adding strawberry frosting to a cake, the actors are great! If you're one of those who're already watching this programme, let me ask you something.
Zaroon Junaid. That name makes you sigh, doesn't it? ;)
4. It's in Urdu! The language that you'll fall in love with almost instantly!
5. And the biggest and the most attractive reason is that it's something new! It is so different from those classic Indian 'saas-bahu' serials that drag on for years, are so bloody slow that they push your level of patience to its brink and at times show utter nonsense with dead people coming back to life and what not.
Compared to all that, this new channel is such a breath of fresh air.
And looks like, Ekta Kapoor is in for some serious competition.

PS: Are you wondering how I know so much about it despite the fact that it's only 8 episodes down on TV?
Well, I have a guilty admission to make. I didn't have the patience to watch just one episode a day on TV so I'm watching it on YouTube and this drama is to be blamed for my absence in every other place.
