YMT Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital Organizes National Conference

YMT Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital organized 'Ayur Kaushalya 2022', a national conference from 4th to 6th March 2022.

The program was inaugurated by the graceful hands of Hon'ble Central minister of Ayush Department, Shri Shripadji Naik. On this occasion, renowned and senior most doctors in the field of Ayurveda practice within the state of Maharashtra were also felicitated.

At the time of inauguration, the MP of MAVAL pranth, Hon'ble Shri Appasaheb BArne, Govt.of Maharashtra, Vice Chancellor of Maharashtra University of Health Science, Dr. Deelip G. Maheskar, Dr. Kalidas Chavan, member of Bharatiya Kendriya Chitiksa Parishad were also present.

Hn'ble Minister Shripadji Naik also mentioned that Govt. of India in the division of Ayush has collaborated with 16 countries by signing MOU on research in the field of Ayurveda .

He further mentioned that Ayurvedic Hospitals on the lines of AIIMS are also to be initiated in every important city across India.

The three-day conference of Ayur Kaushalya also covered ano-rectal surgeries, which is exclusively a part of Ayurveda branch of medicine under Shalya (surgery), Shalakya (Eye, ENT, Dentistry), Strirog Prastuti Tantra (Gynecology & Obstetrics).

Shalya under Ayurveda shall be covered under 2 sessions.

Session A will cover: Local anaesthesia, Fissurectomy, Haemorrhoidectomy (Open & closed), Fistulectomy & Pratisarniya Kshar application, Partial Fistulotomy & Ksharsutra, Thiersch Stitch, Ksharsutra application, Ksharsutra changing, Pratisarniya Kshar in piles, LASER Haemorrhoidoplasty, LASER pilonidoplasty, Filac (low anal fistula), Rubber band ligation, Vessel sealer in Piles, Lat. Sphicterotomy & Fissurectomy, Local and day care procedures, Radio frequency cautery

Session B shall include:
OPD procedures and pain management techniques
Shalyatantra
- Jalaukavacharana
- Cupping
- Syringing
- Siravedh
- Agnikarma

In this, live demonstrations shall be covered in 2 sessions of 84 operations & pachkarma, which will be observed live by around 1000 delegates.
