YMCA University of Science and Technology: MCA lateral entry counselling

YMCA University of Science and Technology offers 2 years MCA lateral entry course. Admission process has started for the course. University will conduct counselling from August 1-8, 2013 for this course.

Interested candidates were requested to submit the application form on July 7, 2013

Minimum Eligibility criteria for MCA lateral entry course at YMCAUST

• Candidates having recognized Bachelor Degree in BCA /BSc (IT /Computer) of minimum three years duration from a recognized university with Math at 10+2 level or at Graduation level are eligible

• The candidate must have clearly passed with an aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) at graduation level.

• Result awaited candidates need not to apply.

The admission would be made on the basis of the merit of qualifying examination conducted by the University

Documents required at the time of counselling are as follows:

• Two attested photocopies and original certificates for verification purpose of the following:

• Class 10th Certificate indicating date of birth and 12th mark sheet.

• Qualifying degree certificate

• Detailed Marks Card of the Qualifying Examination.

• Character Certificate from Head of the Institution last attended / from the last employer.

• SC / BC/PH Certificate /any other reservation certificate (if applicable) issued by competent authority in the format prescribed by the Government.

• Medical Fitness Certificate from a Gazetted Medical Officer

The selected candidates will have to submit a “Migration Certificate” within one month of his/her admission, from the University/Institute last attended.
