XAT 2014 Online Registration from 12th August, 2013

About XAT:

XAT is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur to select the most appropriate students for its management courses. Every year a large number of management aspirants take the XAT to get admission in to XLRI or other good institutes where XAT scores are considered. It has become the most popular entrance exam for management aspirants after CAT and MAT. It however differs from other management entrance examinations as candidates are also expected to write an essay on a given topic besides the usual objective type questions. The essay is considered only for admission to XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Eligibility

• Candidates who have completed Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university from India/abroad are eligible to apply.
• Those completing their final examination by June 10, 2014 may also apply.
• Other XAT Associate Member Institutes may have a different date regarding the completion of the final examination.

Mode of Examination: Paper & Pen Based

Registration Procedure:

XAT Registration: Candidates have to apply online for registration. Fill preliminary information, enter a password of your choice and submit it. After submission of these details applicant receives XAT ID by email.

Complete Form: Login to XAT account and fill educational and other details and choose the test city.

Fee Payment: Candidates can pay fee in Online or cash payment or demand draft.

Upload Photograph and Signature: Applicant is required to upload his/her scanned digital photograph and signature.

Print XAT Confirmation page: Print confirmation page for your reference. In future for all correspondence with XAT office quote your XAT ID.

Send Confirmation page: Payment made through cash or DD needs to send their DD or Pay-in-slip along with the confirmation page to XAT office, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur- 831001.

Downloading of XAT Bulletin: Applicant may download XAT e Bulletin 2014 from website www.xlri.ac.in.

Application fee for XAT exam:

Rs 950/- for General/OBC applicants.

Rs 650/- for SC/ST applicants

Applicant has to get a DD made in favour of “XLRI Jamshedpur A/c XAT” payable at Jamshedpur.

Important Dates:

Date of Commencement of Online Registration: 12th August, 2013

Last Date for Applying: 2nd December, 2013

Downloading of Admit Cards: 18th December 2013 - 31st December 2013

XAT entrance exam: 5th January 2014 (10.30 am to 01.30 pm)

Results: 31st January, 2014

XAT 2014 would be conducted across India in the following cities.

Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Berhampur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Goa, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Surat, Tiruchirapalli, Trivandrum, Udaipur, Vadodara, Varanasi, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam.

XAT 2014 would also be conducted across the following two international cities.

Dubai, Kathmandu.
