X-Calibre’15 witnessed records turnouts at St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata

St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata marked another milestone by breaking records turnouts at X-Calibre’15 organised by Xavier’s Commerce Society. Following the motto ‘Conspire to Desire’ the Day one of the fest beheld a huge amount of audience.

The fest included Corporate Quiz, Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resource and Best Manager events. The success of X-Calibre’15 can be notarized by the quantity of the attendees of the function. It had set a record of 4000 people viewing the event. A vote of thanks was offered to all the volunteers and participants who made this event a great success with verve and their presence.

Credits to the attendees were distributed at the Green Benches, Main Campus on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 and Wednesday, August 26, 2015. 

About the College:

St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, is affiliated to University of Calcutta. The college is one of India’s Best Commerce and Science colleges. The college offers various courses at under graduate as well as post graduate level. A quarter of a century before the present St Xavier’s College began in 1860 in the discarded San Souci Theatre on Park St, by the Belgian Jesuits, an international group of Jesuits commissioned by the English Jesuit Province landed in Calcutta to look after the interests of the Catholics. The team was headed by Dr Robert St Leger.
