X-Calibre-2015: Conspire to Desire! An event by St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata

The Xavier’s Commerce Society of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, is going to organize ‘X-Calibre-Insignia 2015’ on August 19, 2015 and August 20, 2015. This fest has various events which provide the students to showcase their talent in different fields starting from strategic management, finance, supply chain management, public relations to corporate treasure hunt. The fest intends to foster self-development skills in the students along with inculcating leadership qualities.

X-Calibre includes trademarks like Best Manager, Finance Manager, Human Resource Manager, Public Relation Manager, Corporate Treasure Hunt, Corporate Quiz, Entrepreneurship, Marketing Carbon Credits and UN Mock.

The fest has introduced a new event, “Supply Chain Management” which will add stars by carrying forward the success of Insignia 2015. The students of the B Com section are also taken out for x-pedition to diamond beverages for helping the students gain practical work experience. Calcutta Times presented fresh face, conducted their auditions at the college auditorium. The Economic Society is up with a new event “Eco-Echo”  and the Fine Arts society is recruiting people for photography, public relations etc. 

About the College:

St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, is affiliated to University of Calcutta. The college is one of India’s Best Commerce and Science colleges. The college offers various courses at under graduate as well as post graduate level. A quarter of a century before the present St Xavier’s College began in 1860 in the discarded San Souci Theatre on Park St, by the Belgian Jesuits, an international group of Jesuits commissioned by the English Jesuit Province landed in Calcutta to look after the interests of the Catholics. The team was headed by Dr Robert St Leger.
