Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi celebrated the World Water Day with fervour.
The seven days celebration started on March 15 and ended on March 22, 2015. World Water Day is observed since 1993 when the United Nation General Assembly declared 22 March as the World Day of Water.
All the events were carried out by the "Centre for Water Engineering and Management" department. All the programs were held in the college campus, Central University of Jharkhand, itself except the street plays and awareness programs. The events were guided by the head of the department Ajay Singh.
Moreover street plays and awareness programs held at different areas included Mandar block, Kanke, Itki and Ratu.
