Workshop on "Human Values and Professional Ethics by Magadh University

In the prestigious management institute, one day workshop on "Human Values and Professional Ethics" was organised on October 12, 2013 in cooperation with "Value Education Cell", Magadh University, Bihar

Programme began with the lamp lighting and garlanding of statue of Goddess Saraswati. Addressing in the Inaugural Session, the Hon'ble Chief Guest, Shri Radhekant, Ex. Global Head, Nexus Learning Centre, said that, "professional education has indeed led to progress and enhanced performance, but without human values, such progress cannot be sustained for long. Shri Radhekant further said that, today every individual focuses on gaining professional and technical education, overlooking the human values resulting in exploitation of their personal and professional life. The main aim of education is to facilitate better life and to maintain better cooperation among the family, community and nature. This can be made possible only by imbibing human values in professional education.

Guest of Honor, Shri Zubair Alam, Faculty of Business Management, said that human values Builds and enhances the spirit of excellence in individuals. In present time, it has become imperative to inculcate human values and professional ethics in the academic curriculum of the institutions.

The session was further headed by Prof. Pallav Dubey, Director, Phoebes Trust, Patna and Mrs. Saumya Singh, IIPM, Reader and Workshop Coordinator with their valuable speech on the topic.

In the end, Mr. Queym Ahmad, Convener of the Workshop, proposed the vote of thanks. The session was coordinated by Ms. Nutan Chy , BIT, Patnai. On this occasion, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, a Chairman, Nexus Learning Centre and all the faculty members were also present.
