‘Winter is Coming’ Initiative by SIBM, Pune

Following the quote by Mother Teresa “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love”, the Social, Entrepreneurship & Consulting Cell of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune did one such small initiative on November 24, 2015 by distributing blankets to the needy and to the people on the streets of Pune in order to help them endure the upcoming winter.

Winter is Coming is a new initiative by SECC in which the core team members distributed 120 blankets across the streets of Shivaji Nagar, Pune Railway Station, Municipal Office Area, Shaniwar wada and other areas of Pune. The Team raised funds through JUGAAD, THE FUND RAISER event of Entrepreneurship Summit 2015. SECC is happy and proud to be part of such small initiatives that contributes to the welfare of society and would also like to sincerely thank all the Participants and Judges of the Jugaad event (August 7, 2015 and August 8, 2015), who actually sowed the seeds for this great initiative.

Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune was set up in 1978 for providing a peerless education in the field of business management. In existing time SIBM is in its 36th year and continuously imparting its services in the education sector. The college has been marked as one of the top B-school of India. Institute got its permanent affiliation in 1990 from Pune University.
