WBSEDCL Recruitment through GATE 2022: West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) is the sole distributor and hydro generator of electricity in West Bengal. WBSEDCL is the nodal agency of the Government of West Bengal that provides access to electricity to all the rural households in the state. Throughout the years, WBSEDCL has been emerging as a leading provider of Power Utility services of the nation.

Eligibility Criteria for WBSEDCL recruitment through GATE 2022

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to complete four years’ B.E/B.Tech /B.Sc (Engg.) Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Electronics /Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics & Communication/ M.Sc (Computer Science)/ 3 years’ MCA / B.Sc (Hons) with B.Tech (3 Years’ duration) in Computer Science and Engineering from any institute approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)/ Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

Candidates appearing in the final year of qualifying degree are also eligible to apply.

Age Criteria

Applicants must be between 18 to 27 years.

There will be a relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to OBC category, 5 years’ relaxation for students belonging to SC and ST category (from the State of West Bengal only) and 10 years’ relaxation for Person with Disability.
