Way on the "App" journey!

Those studying in the Delhi University would sympathise with me, probably. Travelling by the Metro is the easiest mode of travel, economical and comfortable; yet, it is the most boring stretch of your life, I guess. Right? Standing throughout the 75 minute journey, it isn’t often you find an old school friend or your college mate. Highly coincidental. So, indulge yourself in something. Why not try out some of the coolest aka useful apps to while away your time!

Subway surfers: Hands down, this is the best way to spend your time. Click and Zoom, you just need to hold your phone and have your swift fingers at your command. One of the simplest apps, you just need to have a focused eye and zip zapping fingers to enjoy the ride. Though many would say Candy Crush and Temple Run is more enjoyable, I personally find this more comfortable!

Quizup: For those quiz lovers, this is something to cheer for! Having a multitude of topics (There are some Harry Potter related topics too! Yay!) and the questions being of different levels, it makes up for the monotony of the journey!

Angry Birds: To free the caged birds is quite fun, provided you have the patience to try again and again! And to my astonishment, I realised that the Rio 2 game is easier to complete than the previous version. The ‘On the plane’ or the ‘The Carnival’ are quite hard to break; I haven’t yet got past the first level!

Duolingo: For the language lovers, it is a fantastic app. I am learning French and considering the fact that it is a free app, it doesn’t have any ads’ or any wonky features. Simple, yet effective is what I would call it!

Today, this Thursday morning as you board the metro, try out any one of these apps!
