Vellore Institute of Technology, VIT, is one of the premier institutes of India that offers engineering courses for undergraduate and post-graduate programs. It conducts an entrance exam known as VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Exam) for candidates, who aspire to get admission in the esteemed institute. The admission to both Chennai and Vellore campuses will be totally based on the marks the candidates have scored in the VITEEE 2022 exam. There are only 5000 seats offered by the institute and over 2 lakh candidates appear in the exam. It conducts national level online test in 112 cities of India.
VIT Slot Booking
The candidates, who submit their admission forms, will be able to book their examination slot for the engineering entrance exam conducted by VIT. The VITEEE 2022 Slot Bookings will start from 3rd week of March 2022. This process has been initiated by the institute to make it convenient for students to appear for the exam on a particular date and time best suitable to them. It is important for the aspirants to note that they will not be allowed to appear for the online test in case they fail to book the slot.
How to book slot for VITEEE 2022?
For VITEEE 2022 Slot Bookings, the candidates will have to follow the below mentioned procedure:
- Enter the Application form number along with the 7 digit password that will be sent to the candidates either through SMS or email.
- Candidates must enter the following details prior to clicking on the "Book a Seat" option
- Test Name
- State or International (The entrance exam is also conducted for candidates in Dubai and Kuwait)
- Test City
- Subjects chosen for VITEEE 2015: PCM or PCB
- Choose the Test Date as per your convenience
- Test Centre Name
- Test Centre Address
Once all the required details are filled, click on the submit button and different slots will be displayed on the computer screen. The candidates can choose the most suitable slot. The booking is completed and confirmed soon after the slot has been chosen by the candidates. It is essential to note that only one minute will be given to the candidates to book their slots.
