UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2017 e-Admit Card Released

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2022 notification on September 28, 2022. A fresh notification has been released stating that the last date to register for the exam has been extended to November 3, 2022. The exam will be held to fill 440 engineering positions in various departments of the central government. The posts will be for Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering categories.

The candidates are required to go through the eligibility criteria before filling the application form for the same.

Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Services Exam 2022:

All the candidates must hold a Bachelor degree in any engineering discipline from a recognised university or institute. The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all eligibility conditions in order to take the examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional and subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of e‐Admission Certificate to the candidate will not imply that the Commission has finally cleared his /her candidature. The Commission takes up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only after the candidate has qualified for the Personality Test.

UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2022 Selection Process:

The exam for Engineering Services 2022 will be held in three stages:

• Preliminary Examination
• Main Examination
• Personality Test

The preliminary exam will be held on January 8, 2022, at various centres across the nation. The candidates will have to choose the examination centres as per their preference while they apply for their respective exam. The commission will be allotting the centres for examination on the first-come-first-serve basis.
There will be negative marking for wrong answers in the objective type questions.
