The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final result of the Combined Medical Services Exam, 2014.
According to a notification released by the UPSC, 801 candidates have been recommended for appointment to posts in Indian Railways, Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service, Central Government Health Services, East, North & South Delhi Municipal Corporations and New Delhi Municipal Council.
The result list, in order of merit, is based on the written CMS exam results as well as the interview results.
While the CMS written exam was conducted on 22nd June, 2014, the interviews were carried out in Aug-Oct, 2014.

Candidates who have been selected will be appointed to the following posts:
1. Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways
2. Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service
3. Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services
4. General Duty Medical Officers Gr II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation
5. General Duty Medical Officers in New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC)
The Combined Medical Services Examination is conducted by the UPSC every year to recruit MBBS graduates to various services/ posts in the government.
