The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the Combined Defence Services (CDS) written examination 2015.
The Combined Defence Services examination (I)-2015 was conducted by the UPSC on 15th February this year.
An official release on the Commission’s website says that 8,488 candidates have qualified for being interviewed by the Service Selection Board of the Defence Ministry.

Candidates who clear these interviews will get admission in Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, (140th course), Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala and for Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) training course, all of them commencing in January, 2022.
Apart from the above, admission to 103rd Short Service Commission course (for men) and 17th SSC for women (non-technical) course at Officers' Training Academy, Chennai, commencing in April, 2022, will also be decided on the basis of the interviews result, as per the release.
For the candidates who’ve not qualified, their marks-sheets will be put on the UPSC's website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result of interview and will remain available on the website for a period of 60 days.
The UPSC has a facilitation counter near examination hall building in its campus in New Delhi. Candidates may obtain any information or clarification regarding the examination on working days between 10am to 5pm, in person or over telephone Nos 011-23385271, 011-23381125 and 011-23098543.
Candidates can also obtain information regarding their result by accessing UPSC website--www.upsc.gov.in.
