The Combined Defence Services (CDS) 2022 exam will be organised by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The exam will be conducted on February 5, 2022. The registrations for the exam will begin from November 9, 2022. The last date to register is December 2, 2022. CDS (I) aspirants can register on the official website of UPSC.

CDS (I) 2022 exam will be a pen and paper based exam. The questions will be objective type and there will be negative marking for incorrect answers.
While male candidates can apply only for OTA, INA, AFA and IMA, female candidates can only apply for OTA. The candidates applying for the exam must hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university. Those applying for AFA and INA must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Candidates in the final year/semester of their degree courses are also eligible to apply.
