University of Pune is inviting applications from eligible candidates for Ph.D entrance examination 2013.
The university is holding the PET entrance test for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programmes in Faculty of Arts & Fine Arts, Faculty of Mental Moral & Social Science, Faculty of Commerce, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Physical Education & Faculty of Geography.
Candidates who qualify in Paper-I to be conducted on 17th November, 2013 are only eligible to appear for Paper-II, which will be conducted on 8th December, 2013.
Eligibility
For admission to the Ph.D. programme in a related subject in the faculty, applicants fulfilling the following criteria shall be treated as eligible:
a) Candidates having a post Graduate Degree(Master Degree) Examination with at least 50% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average(GPA).
b) Candidates having passed Post-Graduate Degree (Master Degree) Examination Law Faculty with at least 55%.
c) 5% relaxation for reserve category students of Maharashtra State only.
