UGC PG Merit Scholarship 2016: Submit Applications Latest by Sept 15

The University Grant Commission (UGC) has started inviting applications from students who desire to pursue Post Graduation (PG) from any of the UGC approved University under UGC PG merit scholarship slab.

Candidates willing to take up UGC Post-Graduate Merit Scholarship Scheme need to submit their applications latest by September 15.

The UGC is aiming to magnet university rank holders seeking admission in PG courses (2 years) in any specialization.

Also, each UGC PG scholarship 2022 holder will be awarded Rs. 2,000 per month for 2 years. But after the completion of first year, the second year grant will be released after receiving utilisation certificate and statement of expenditure along with the progress report of the first year.

UGC PG Merit Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Applicant needs to be a university rank holder in the UG programme and should’ve secureda minimum of 60%marks at undergraduate level.

The UGC scholarship will be awarded only to those who have taken admission in regular, with a full-time Master’s degree course in any recognised university, deemed university, private university, autonomous college or a post graduate college.
