The University Grants Commisiion - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2015 results have been announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The exam was held on 27th December 2015, at 88 centres across the country.
The qualified candidates will be eligible to apply for assistant professior posts or further take up the Junior Research Fellowship programme (or both) in Indian universities and colleges.

The exam, which consists of three papers, is conducted twice a year. In order to become eligible to write UGC NET paper, candidates must have scored at least 55% in their master’s degree.
The next UGC NET exam is scheduled to be conducted on 10th July, 2015 for the selection of candidates for Lectureship (Assistant Professor posts) or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
