Training Programme on MXROAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D SOFTWARE at SVNIT

PG Section in Transportation Engineering and Planning Civil Engineering Department of S. V. National Institute of Technology is going to organise TEQIP-II supported self-financed five days’ training programme on MXROAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D SOFTWARE from May 6, 2022 to May 10, 2022.

The training programme will include:

Introduction to Highway Geometric Design

1. Horizontal Alignment Design

• Import of Survey Data
• Design Speed
• Fixing of Tangents/HIPs
• Design Radius
• Transition Curve

2. Vertical Profile Design

• DTM/Triangulation Model
• Fixing Vertical Tangent/VIPs
• Gradient/Slope
• Sight Distance
• Summit/Valley Curve

3. Carriageway Design

• Cross fall/Superelevation

4. Shoulder Design

5. Earthwork Preparation of Drawings and Annotation

Eligibility Criteria:

Faculty members from AICTE recognised institutes with Bachelor degree in civil engineering/research scholar pursuing Ph. D/M. Tech students of Transportation Engineering Programme, officers of government and semi-government departments are eligible for attending the training programme.

Registration Details:

• The registration fee for training programme for students: Rs. 4000
• The registration fee for faculties and industry persons: Rs. 6000

Important Dates:

The last date to register is April 25, 2022.

The selected candidates will be intimated by April 30, 2022, through email.
