Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is conducting a National Entrance Test on 22nd December, 2013 for admission to its postgraduate degree courses (M.A., M. Sc., M.H.A., M.P.H.) for the academic session 2014-16.
National Entrance Test (TISS-NET) is computer based. It will be held on December 22, 2013 from 2 pm to 3.40 pm in 35 centres (below mentioned) in different parts of the country.

Eligibility Criteria
a) Candidates having a bachelor's degree with minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent ( under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognized university are eligible to apply
b) Candidates who will be able to complete all the requirements of their final year Bachelor's Degree examinations by Saturday, June 14, 2014 are also eligible to apply to all the programmes except School of Health System Studies and School of Education (Elementary) programmes.

Application Procedure
- Candidates have to apply through the online application form only. Following are the steps involved in filling up the form:
- The candidate has to register with an emailid. The candidate will be sent a password which is to be used to login and fill the online form.
- After login candidates have to fill in their basic details, academic details and have to mention the programmes they wish to apply for in the order of preference.
- Pay the application fee (depending on number of programmes applied) either by depositing cash in any branch of SBI or through Credit card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking and
- Scan and upload photograph, signature, marksheet of last exam passed and other necessary certificates.
Candidates having lack of access to internet services (remote area) can write to Mumbai campus for printed application form. They have to the application form and submit before last date of submission.
Candidate can apply for multiple programmes and pay for all the programmes in one online form and should not fill more than one online form. If a candidate is found to have filled more than one form, all his applications will be cancelled.

Selection Procedure
The selection of candidates for different programmes happens in two stages and has three components of assessment. All candidates appear for the common entrance test (TISS-NET). Based on the performance in the TISS-NET examination, only short listed candidates are called for the Pre Interview Test and Personal Interview (PIT/PI).
