The kids were asked to draw anything they want to and the response was amazing. Apart from this just to entertain their parents. They organized Tug-of-war for their fathers and a Rangoli workshop for their mothers. Even though they appeared shy, they gave surprise with their sporting spirit. With this college experienced the real joy of giving.
Thanks Giving program:
We get so busy in life that we never see the efforts of some people like security guards, Sweepers and all the non teaching staff. They are like back stage crew which we don’t see often on screen but they are responsible for daily proceedings.
On Friday the SAHYOG team went to all of them, gave them a rose , Hugged them and said ‘THANK YOU’ . They were surprised to see them and happy too at the same time.
Cash Collection Drive:
On October 8, 2013 a cash collection drive was organised with ‘TARANG’, An NGO working with the concept of night school. They teach small poor children at night and also provide them evening meal. The drive was very successful and many students along with faculty have donated cash for their evening meal.
Thus ended a very successful week, involving a lot of learning and giving back to the society that everyone is responsible for
