Thapar University Extends NRI/FN category and B.Tech. Application Dates to 7th and 25th August 2015, respectively

Thapar University, Patiala has extended the application date for candidates applying under NRI/FN category for all programs to 7th August, 2015 and for those applying for B.Tech. (Biotechnology) to 25th August, 2015 due to the re conduct of the AIPMT exam.

15% over and above seats in each program are reserved for the FN/NRI candidates and they are not required to appear in the Entrance Test. The University has different eligibility criteria for FN/NRI candidates for different programmes offered, details of which you can find out by clicking here.
 

However, admission to B.Tech (Biotechnology) is exclusively on the basis of All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) score. B.Tech. Biotechnology programme focuses on the fundamentals of relevant engineering disciplines along with emerging trends of modern biology and biotechnology.
