About AIMA MAST:
MAST or Management Aptitude and Skills Test is conducted by AIMA in order to help B schools students to know their area of managerial expertise and corporate sector. The test is recognised by various reputed companies in India as it provides easy access to pan-India candidate database.
A research conducted by Indian Market Research Bureau (IMRB) and AIMA showed that despite the large number of management graduates passing out annually, most of them were not placed appropriately in corporate. With an aim to create and launch a universal yardstick for screening and selecting the right candidates for the right profile, AIMA launched MAST in 2010.
Any B-School or individual student can register for MAST. The test evaluates B-School Pass outs on critical thinking, communication skills cross functional competence among others.
Candidates who are sill skeptical about which sector to join can appear for the Computer Based Test (CBT) this test before 7th September 2012.
Eligibility for AIMA MAST:
- A candidate needs to complete his/her MBA or PGDM or equivalent diploma or degree from a recognised university or institute.
- MBA/PGDM or equivalent degree or diploma should be of 2 year full time or 3 year part time or 2 year distance learning programme.
- Any programme of less than 2 years duration is not eligible.
- The candidates who have passed on or after 2009 only can appear for the test.

Procedure of registering for AIMA MAST:
- Candidates can register online by clicking here.
- A demand draft of Rs 1750 (cost for test) has to be submitted at New Delhi from any bank in favour of “All India Management Association”.
- After registering candidates can download their admit form from the official website of AIMA.
Syllabus for AIMA MAST:
The test is an objective type test with multiple choice questions divided in to three parts:
- Psychometric assessment will test skills like leadership, decision making, team work, adaptability, stress management, initiator, ethical values, negotiation and stability.
- General aptitude will test numerical ability, managerial ability, reasoning and English language.
- Domain knowledge test will consist multiple choice question on case studies on HR. Marketing, Operations, IT, International Business and Finance.

- Last date of registration: 7th September 2012
- Date for the Test: 23rd September 2012
- Declaration of result: Last week of October
