Teacher’s day celebration at IBS, Ahmedabad

Teacher's Day is celebrated as a tribute to the valuable contribution made by teachers to the society by imparting knowledge, vision and enlightening and shaping the career of students. Teachers Day is considered a "celebration" day, where teachers and students report to school as usual but the usual activities and classes are replaced by activities of celebration, thanks and remembrance.

From playhouse till post graduation there is only person who shapes our life and that is “Guru” (teachers / professors).

At IBS Ahmedabad there was grand celebration on teacher’s day to give value, respect and big vote of thanks to all the professors on September 5, 2013.

The ceremony usually kicked off with a warm Teacher's Day speech paying respect and thanking teachers for their contribution. This was often followed by a range of colorful cultural programs, feast and other activities which made the event special and most memorable day.

All of us have been students at some stage of life, benefited from some teacher, gained knowledge, learnt from mistakes and now this is the day to show gratitude and appreciation to teachers. This is a perfect reward for teachers. Professors and students of IBS are like one family. At every stage of difficulty they have always been together with students.

A true teacher is not someone who just teaches academic lessons to his/her students rather, he/she is like a guide, who helps the students in each and every sphere of life, by giving the right advice and this is what IBS faculties are. This has been possible due to the efforts of Dr. Vivek Ranga dean and head of IBS Ahemdabad, Prof. Bharti Thakkar the dean of academics and Prof Prashant Saxena the Associate dean of IBS.
