Teacher’s Day Celebrated at Assam Engineering College, Guwahati

On the prestigious eve of teacher's day, a function was organised by the students of the Assam Engineering College at AEC auditorium on September 4, 2015 from 10: 30 a.m. Inaugural lectures by the principal of AEC and the Technical Director of Education Mr. Atul Bora and many others. Performances by the students were also organised. The students presented plethora of events to pay tribute to their teachers which added an essence of fun and entertainment to the gala extravaganza.

About the College:

Assam Engineering College (AEC), Guwahati is the first under graduate engineering college of north-eastern India. AEC is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).It offers Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication, Industrial and Production, Instrumentation and Mechanical Engineering. Apart from courses at under graduate level the college offers courses at post graduate as well as doctorate level.
