From a Teacher to a Professor!

Not even a week into college and to say I am getting pretty nostalgic seems funny! You would probably ask what I am getting nostalgic about! School, of course. When I was in school, I used to see those tall, well built guys with a sling bag enjoying life and envy them; now when it is my turn in college, I feel like I miss school a lot. Listing out things is my favourite hobby, so here I go:

1. Having a Mobile Phone with me : Unfortunately Fortunately I was one of those good kids who never even thought of taking a mobile phone to school, listen to songs and take videos of teachers(supposedly to be referenced later at the time of studies) and even used to snub those who even thought of doing this sin! But, now the same mobile is with me 24 X 7, though I have no use for it. I can still live in this world without being happily wedded to mobiles.
    
2. An intimating class:  Surely, when you have been used to 30 kids in your class at school and now in college there are around 65 kids in the same class ,of course, it does overwhelm you. Even getting to know and memorise the names of everyone would take a month!
    
3. Freedom to walk out: Whenever I walked past my Principal’s office at school, I would see some anxious parents waiting to collect their so-called-sick-kids and take them back home to be laid on a silk bed and be looked after like a king or queen. Though the faked illness and the disappearance of it the very next day is something not every parent comprehends! How hard it is to come back home from school in the middle of the day! No need to do this in college! Feel like going for a movie? Walk out of the college! Simple! Just that there may be a humongous problem in attendance later.
    
4. A teacher to a Professor:  Of course, the one in front of you is a Professor, not a teacher. Though there isn’t an iota of difference, as far as I have been. Except that teachers were for different subject, here the Professors are just for one subject; just teaching different disciplines.
