ITM University is conducting summer schools for Faculty Members and Students pursuing B. Tech/M. Tech or completed B. Tech/M. Tech in any branch of Engineering & Technology for Summer School from June 4- July 10, 2014. Today the inauguration ceremony started.
Detailed Description of 4 Week Module:
Week1: Awareness of State of the art
In this duration, the participants will identify the emerging topics in the selected area. They will be also given information about
- Ethics in Research
- Plagiarism
- Accessing good journals
- Effective use of library resources
- Using keywords to search for research papers
- Doing literature survey
Week 2: Problem Description
Under this module the participants will work on finding the different problem in the emerging areas. They will be able to formulate the problem to be worked upon.
Week3: Learning of basic tools for problem solving
During this week students will learn the basic tools for problem solving.
Week 4: Report Writing
In the final phase of 4 week module of summer school, participants will work on writing research report. They will prepare the report based on whatever they have learnt. The participants will receive the certificate only after the submission of report.
