Student’s Strike at K.C. Institute of Technology, Himachal Pradesh

Sours said that Principal of K.C Institute of Technology expelled from his post due to some miss behaviour towards the girls students of his college.

Victims said that they were forced by the principal to exchange their personal numbers many a times and always looking for a chance to get closer.

Putting a question on his character girls came to their class teacher to complaint against him. With the help of the teacher they forwarded their application to director of a college, demanding to take strict action. Student waited for next day morning as deadline was provided by director.

But next day they noticed that no action was taken against him so all students came along to the street to strike. They demanded to expel the Principal.

At last management had decided to expel him after discussing the matter intensely.

Every now and then we get the news of girls being assaulted. They are not safe be it in School, College, workplace even at home. Rape cases are happened in every minute. Dowry is still exists in some places of India because of which girls face unbearable harassment at their in-laws. Female foeticide is still there. Female foeticide is the act of aborting a foetus because it is female.

To stop all these law system should be more active and strict so that criminals can’t even think of doing so. Keep women safety in mind many NGO’s, self help groups come together to train them how to protect, women helpline numbers are distributed by the government so that they can contact any time in need. To protest against violence UN decided to celebrate November 25 as International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

But the daily ratio of rape cases is raising questions over women’s safety in the capital as well as all over the country and sparking debates over their treatment in India. Don’t you think that these culprits need to be punished to the extent that it will be a lesson to others??Think once.....
