St. Xaviers’ College Hosts 1st International Conference on ‘Re-envisioning Economics'

The conferences are one of the most convenient ways of communicating an idea or theme or bring the change over a national or international issue. It also provides the students with a learning platform to increase their knowledge, experience etc. Keeping these in mind, St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur, conducted its 1st International Conference on ‘Reenvisioning Economics: Inclusive Growth and Sustainability’ on December 21st and 22nd, 2022. The conference was sponsored by Tech Portal, Golden Drive Creations Pvt. Ltd., Jamboree, Miles Education and Shree Residency.

 

People from all around the globe presented their research papers. The conference was turned around 4 technical sessions. The first session was on ‘Inclusive Growth’ where Dr. D.N. Rao, Dr. Ramanathan, Mr. Anshul Jain and students presented their work. Followed by ‘The Boon – Human Capital’, was talked on by Dr. Harsh Purohit, Dr. Barun Kanjilal and Sh. Rajeev Misha along with students from different colleges. On Day 2 of the conference, Dr. Anupama Rajesh, Mr. Mahavir Prasad Sharma, Mr. Pavas Jain enlightened the students on ‘Digital India’ in Technical Session 3. Technical Session 4 was discussed by Dr. Sat Gupta, Madam Apra Kuchal, and Dr. N.D. Mathur on ‘Innovating Innovation’.

 

Students from different colleges presented their research PPT and posters which were judged by Dr. N.D. Mathur and Dr. Sat Gupta. Ms. Pragya Chaudhary from St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur, discussed on demonetization in her paper, titled ‘PM Modi’s surgical strike on Black Money’ and was awarded the best presentation. The best poster presenters were Parth Bhatt and Shyam Vijay from St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur.

 

Over 150 research paper were written and more than 78 were presented during the conference. The conference concluded with valedictory session and a group photograph.
