SSC CGL Tier I Exam 2015 in August

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducting the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam 2015 for recruitment of different posts in various ministries and departments of the Government of India.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is scheduled to be conducted on August 9 and 16, 2015 at various examination centres. SSC has seven regional offices at Allahabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai and Bangalore. Eligible and interested candidates are advised to register on or before June 1, 2015.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must have completed his/her graduation from any deemed university recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC)

• Aspirants must fall in the age bracket between 18 to 27 years. Candidates belonging reserved categories will get age relaxation as per the government rules i.e. SC/ST- 5 years, OBC- 3 years.

• Applicants should fill all the required details and upload their recent passport size colour photograph as well as signature. After choosing the convenient examination centre, applicants must submit the application and take a print out for future purposes.

• Applicants belonging to General Category/OBC need to pay Rs. 100 as application fee. However, SC/ST/PWD/Women are exempted from paying the application fee!

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of the written exam and personal interview.
