The campus of Institute of Management Studies Ghaziabad (IMS) was filled with distinguished guests, management members, director, and faculty members on the occasion of four day long furore from February 11-14, 2014.
Entitled as Spice Macay, the first day of the four days long furore marked a brilliant performance by Pt. Shri Sarathi Chatterjee - Hindustani Classical Vocalist. The IMS Ghaziabad Auditorium, filled with distinguished guests, management members, director, faculty - along with their families, and students, burst into applauds on February 11, 2014 after the phenomenal and melodious performance by the eminent artist and his team.
The second day of this melodious journey saw a spectacular performance by Pt. Shri Rajendra Prasanna – a master of Flute and Shehnai on February 12, 2014. The lingering effect of an exceptional performance from the previous day took an exponential leap after the breath taking performance by Pt. Shri Rajendra Prasanna which left everyone spellbound. The Jugalbandi of Tablaand Flute even got a standing ovation from everyone in the auditorium.
The third and fourth days of this memorable journey on February 13 and 14, 2014 had an altogether different feel by bringing back the memories of Indian Classical Cinema. “Pushpak Vimana” - a silent comedy masterpiece and “Charlie Chaplin – A Great Dictator” – an all time classic were played. IMS auditorium heard uproars of laughter throughout the movies, with audience enjoying the brilliant works by veteran directors and actors.
The four days long extravaganza of SPIC MACAY also got wide media coverage.
