‘Six Sigma’: Green Belt Certification Programme by Selaqui Institute of Management

Selaqui Institute of Management, Dehradun in association with Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Government of India Organization) offers Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.

This workshop is a 4 days certification program which is going to fetch 'Green Belt' to the participants after attending the workshop and passing of examination.

It will be held from November 14-17, 2013 at Dehradun campus of Selaqui Institute of Management.

The concept 'Six Sigma' was developed by Motorola Inc., in the USA, who first pioneered 'Six Sigma' methods in the 1980's. 'Six Sigma' began in 1986 as a statistically-based method to reduce variation in electronic manufacturing processes in Motorola Inc in the USA. Today, twenty-seven years on, 'Six Sigma' is used as an all-encompassing business performance methodology, all over the world, in organizations as diverse as multi-national corporations, local government departments, hospitals, the armed forces, and banks.

SixSigma Initiatives has become a rage in the western world as well as in developing countries like India. Every organization wants to implement 'Six Sigma' approach in anticipation of improving market penetration and organizational speed at the same time reducing cost of doing business.
