Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) no longer conciliates the title of ‘most-happening college’ in Delhi University due to recent parameters and regulations obligated by the new solemnizing Principal of the respective College, Dr. Ashok Sehgal.
As per the guidelines issued by the Principal, SRCC students cannot continue cultural activities like Rain Dance Freshers’ and Prom Nights as it leads to wastage of resources, redundant lawsuits and mutilation to college property. Unregistered societies would not be allowed to organise any individual fests except a few academic and co-curricular activities.
Also, theses societies are not allowed to post any notice or poster without the permission of the teacher concerned. Nor they can obtain any money from the scholars in any form like tickets or passes. Deployment of lady police for safety and security of female students is also under the major concern and it has been made mandatory.
