Keeping up with changing trends and new requirements of safety, environment and health, a short term course on Organization & Management of safety was organised at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) KGP between February 16-20, 2015.
The course had comprehensive coverage of all the essential do's and don'ts, best practices in health and safety requirements, waste disposable management, environmental discharge standards etc. These avenues require subject matter experts and hence it is imperative that necessary personnel be adequately trained.
The course was open for individuals and professionals in groups of 5 with the course fee being Rs. 28,000 and Rs. 26,000 respectively. Lodging and boarding charges were over and above the course fee.
