Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU), Jaipur celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Acharya Shree Purshottam Uttam by organizing the First Knowledge Summit 2015, theme of which was ‘Bridging the Gap Between Bharat and India’.
Acharya Shree Purshottam Uttam was the founder of the Sahitya Sadawart Samiti, a society fully devoted to the cause of education for the minorities, poor and the have-nots of the society.
On the occasion, a discussion forum titled ‘SANTHAGAR’ was organized. Various speakers and their topics were as follows:
- Sh. Sunil Sharma: Nationalism and Secularism – Rival or Allies?
- Dr. Sudhanshu: Urbanization of Rural India- An Inevitable Move?
- Mr. Nikhil Dey: Role of Education in Bridging the Gap Between Bharat and India
- Mr. Sunny Sebastian: Importance of Journalism and Media in Bridging the Gap
- Mr. Om Saini: Shackles of Indian Growth Story- Corruption.
- Mr. Sureshdra Rajpurohit: Industrialization in Bridging the Gap
Other cultural activities like folk dance and puppetry were also performed during the occasion.
