G.S. College of Commerce and Economics, MP has launched the self defence classes for Girls recently.
Because of the recent activities happening in our country like rape, murder, physical assault, it is felt by the College Administration and Anti Ragging Cell, that there is a quick need for a training program where girls can be well trained with how to tackle with such sort of situation, if faced.
The Principal added that, "These classes will not only boost up our girls but also diminish the negative mindset of anti-social elements. Currently we have started these classes only for our girl students. But in future we may plan to expand it for boys as well."
The girls are feeling very enthusiastic about this 'Self Defence Class' and there is already a buzz for theses classes among the students. The classes will be held in the seminar hall situated at the back side of Administrative Block.
A good initiative indeed!
