About CDAC:
Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is the premier R&D organization of the Department of Information Technology (DIT), Ministry of Communications & Information Technology (MCIT) for carrying out R&D in IT, Electronics and associated areas.
Students can choose from various courses offered by CDAC like Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Software Technology, Post Graduate Diploma in Information Security, Post Graduate Diploma in Geoinformatics, Post Graduate Diploma in Healthcare informatics and many more.
Seat allotment procedure:
The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing declared its results for admission in post graduate diploma courses on July 13, 2012. The first round of selection was scheduled on July 20, 2012. The second and third round of selection will be held in the coming week. Details are mentioned below:

After the seat allocation:
- The selected candidates need to pay the token amount as per the mentioned dates.
- If the token amount is paid through Demand Draft then it should reach C-DAC before 5 pm on the mentioned date against each round of seat allotment.
- Candidates who will fail to pay the token amount will not be considered eligible for next rounds.
- Candidates who are not satisfied with the course or centre given can opt for preference of their choice in later rounds.
- Candidates who will be allocated seats in the third round will have to pay the full fees directly.
- All the selected candidates after the final allocation of seats will be enrolled as C-DAC students.
- All the students will then be issued an identity numbers.
- At the time of admission all the students need to submit passport size coloured photograph, photocopies of qualifying degree, certificates/provisional certificates. The students also need to present the original documents at the time of registration.
