SCMC 2016 Admission Dates Announced

Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication has invited applications for SCMC 2022 admissions. Interested candidates can apply for the Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication (BA-Mass Comm.) online by following the link provided on this page.

This article contains all the necessary information regarding the SCMC admissions 2022 including application process, admission procedure, eligibility criteria, exam patterns etc. The college will conduct the SCMC media course entrance exam to grant admission to undergraduate media courses offered at the respective institute.

SCMC 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants having completed their 10+2 (or 10+3 Diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education) in any discipline from any recognised Board / Council / University with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) aggregate marks, or equivalent grades, are eligible to seek admission.
• Applicants expecting their 12th results may also apply. It will be mandatory for them to furnish proof of securing a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) aggregate marks, or equivalent grades, at the time of the second round of admission.

Admission Procedure for SCMC 2022:

The admission procedure consists of two rounds:

• First round comprises of the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), which is an objective written test. The SET entrance exam will be conducted at various centres across the country. The candidates who qualify the SET written test will be appearing for the second round of the admission procedure.
• The students shortlisted in the first round will have to appear for the second round. The second round consists of a writing ability test, document verification round and studio test along with personal interview. The students have to appear for the second round at the Centre. This round may last upto 3-4 hours.
