Applications to increase from last year's mark in 2013: School of Open Learning

Current number of enrolments are most likely to surpass last year’s figures, 1.32 lakh at the School of Open Learning, Delhi University.

SOL has had an intake of 15,000, from the North Zone itself. "More admissions are taking place this year. The rush is expected to increase as the last date for submitting forms approaches," said OP Shamra, assistant registrar.

Admissions at SOL will close by August 2013. Applicants continue to come strong even though SOL is continuing with the three year undergraduate programme.

Many of the applicants are either working or are pursuing another course from elsewhere.
