SBI Clerk 2022 recruitment notification has been released by the State Bank of India for eligible Indian candidates for appointment as Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) and Junior Agricultural Associates in clerical cadre in SBI. The total number of vacancies in the SBI clerk recruitment process is more than 19,000. Candidates can apply for only one post and in one state.
SBI recruitment for clerical cadre 2022 has announced 7282 vacancies for general candidates whereas the remaining vacancies are to be filled by reserved category candidates (candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC).
The candidates can apply for the same from April 5, 2022 to April 25, 2022. The recruitment process consists of three categories namely, Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales), Junior Agricultural Associates and Special Recruitment Drive for Tura (Meghalaya) and Kashmir Valley and Ladakh.
SBI clerk exam dates have not been finalised yet. Preliminary exam will be conducted tentatively in the month of May/June 2022.
How to Apply?
Candidates will be required to register themselves online through bank’s website www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in. Once they complete with the registration process, they have to make the payment of the requisite application fee online via debit card, credit card or internet banking.
The candidates must possess a valid email id for communication.
SBI Clerk 2022 Selection Procedure:
The selection process is categorised into three phases namely, preliminary & main online examinations, test of official and/or local language and subject to Government of India approval, interview.
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination:
Preliminary Examination is an online test which consists of objective tests for 100 marks. This duration of the test will be of 1 hour consisting of 3 sections as follows:

It is mandatory for candidates to qualify in each of the three tests by securing passing marks to be decided by the bank. The bank will decide an adequate number of candidates in each category to be shortlisted to appear for the Main Examination.

Phase – III: Interview:
The candidates who will qualify the main examination will be placed in descending order in respective categories depending upon their marks obtained in the second phase. The candidates as per their merit will be called for interview round in the ratio of maximum 3 candidates for each vacancy.
The candidate must score a minimum percentage in the interview for final selection. This percentage is to be decided by the bank. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/XS category.
