SBI PO 2016 Preliminary Exam Results on July 18, Mains Exam on July 31

As reported earlier, SBI successfully conducted Probationary Officer (PO) recruitment exam on July 2, 3, 9 and July 10, 2022. Based on the candidates’ score in SBI PO 2022 Preliminary Exam, the examination authority will filter approximately 50,000 candidates. Candidates filtered in SBI PO 2022 Preliminary Exam will be able to sit for mains exam which is scheduled for July 31, 2022. 

The results of SBI PO 2022 Mains Exam will be announced on August 16, after which candidates will be called for a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) which is to be scheduled for September 1, 2022. The final results of the SBI PO 2022 will be announced on September 30, 2022 based on which, candidates will get call letters to join as POs. 

Candidates here need to know that the examination authority will only add marks in the SBI PO 2022 Mains Exam (both Objective and Descriptive Tests) to the marks obtained in the GD and PI based on which the list of SBI PO 2022 final result will be prepared. 

How to check SBI PO 2022 Preliminary Exam Result 

• For checking the SBI PO 2022 Preliminary Exam result, candidates can visit the official website of SBI or simply click here
• Click on the ‘Career’ tab which is available on the top right corner of the homepage.
• Candidates then need to scroll down and click on the ‘Current Openings’ link at the bottom left-hand side of the new page that opens.
• A new page will open up where candidates need to click on the ‘Recruitment of Probationary Officers in State Bank of India’ link
• Then click on the result link
• Aspirants need to fill in the required details in the prescribed format and finally click on the ‘Submit’ tab
• A new page will open up showing the result that candidates can download and take a printout of the same for future reference.

SBI PO 2022 Seat Allocation

SBI has announced a total number of 2200 seats for the post of Probationary Officers (PO). The seat allocation for the same will be as follows:

• General: 1028 Seats
• Other Backward Classes (OBC): 590 Seats
• Scheduled Castes (SC): 351 Seats
• Schedule Tribe (ST): 231 Seats

• SBI PO 2022 Preliminary Exam result will be announced on July 18, 2022.
• Shortlisted candidates can download call letters for the online main exam from July 21, 2022 onwards.
