The Delhi University has created yet another record. It has sold more than 2 Lakh copies of forms during the first 4 days of the beginning of the admission process. The varsity is selling forms both in the online and offline mode. There are 18 centres for the purchasing and the submission of the OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) forms. The North and South Campus have five centres each while there are three centres in the West as well as East Delhi and two centres in the Central Delhi.
More than 57,000 candidates had registered themselves on the first day itself in spite of crashing of the official website of the University. Not only this, there were more than 70,000 copies of forms that were sold on the second day.
The admission process began on 2nd June 2014 and would continue till 16th June 2014. There are 54,000 seats at the University this year, out of which 14,580 seats are reserved for the OBC category while the SC/ST category has 12,150 seats reserved for them.
