Punjab TET 2016: Registration, Paper Pattern and Fee Structure

The registration for Punjab Teacher’s Eligibility Test (TET) is on and the interested candidates can reach out to the official website www.tetpunjab.com of Punjab TET to apply for the same. The TET test in Punjab is conducted for recruiting teachers for the primary classes (1 to 5) and upper primary classes (6 to 8). The interested candidates can submit their applications on or before 5PM on July 21, 2022. 

Punjab TET 2022 Syllabus for Paper I (for class 1-5) 

There will 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of one mark each. The structure and content for Punjab TET Syllabus for Paper I will remain as follows:

• Mathematics: 30 MCQs (30 marks)   
• Environmental Studies: 30 MCQs (30 marks)   
• Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 MCQs (30 marks)
• Language I: 30 MCQs (30 marks)
• Language II: 30 MCQs (30 marks)    

Punjab TET 2022 Syllabus for Paper II (for class 6-8)

Punjab TET Syllabus for Paper II (for class 6-8) will consist of 150 MCQs of one mark each. The structure and content for the same will remain as:

• Language-I (compulsory): 30 MCQs (One Mark each)
• Language-II (compulsory): 30 MCQs (One Mark each)
• Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory): 30 MCQs (One Mark each) 

For Social Studies/Social Science Teacher: 

Social Science: 60 MCQs (One Mark each) 

For Mathematics and Science teacher:

Mathematics and Science: 60 MCQs (One Mark each)

For any other teacher - either (a) or (b)

Punjab TET 2022 Fee structure 

The fee structure for General/BC/OBC category who are applying either for Paper I or Paper II will remain INR 600 and those who are applying for both the papers need to pay INR 1200. Similarly, SC/ST/Differently Abled candidate need to pay INR 300 if they are applying for either of the two exams and INR 600 if applying for both the exams. Candidates can pay the fee through Challan, Cash deposit in Axis Bank and through Credit/Debit and Net banking.
