A Pune resident Vihar Durve with the help of RTI, acquired information related to Examination procedure of State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Maharashtra. Vihar Durve received shocking information through RTI exposingthe delinquency in the education system. Based on the information received, Vihar has sent a legal notice to concerned authorities, Maharashtra Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, Minister of School Education, Minister of Higher and Technical Education, the Chairman and the Divisional Chairman of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
The RTI activist has mentioned in the notice that in spite of repeated demands for a transparent and time bound system for assessment and refund of fee, the government has not taken disciplinary action against the concerned authority.
