Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Government College, Faridabad organised Hindi Diwas on September 14, 2022. The event was organised in the gracious presence of Principal Smt. Vimla Bishnoi who inaugurated the event with a Saraswati Vandana.
The day marked with various competitions including essay writing, speech, and poetry recitation, which were judged by the college faculties Asha Rohilla, Kamlesh Devi, Amita Malhotra, Dr. Neer Kanwal Mani, Dr. Lalita Juneja, Taramani Jindal.
Hemlata Sharma, Dipika Aggarwal, Megha Chauhan took home the 1st, 2nd, 3rd prize respectively in essay writing competition.
Priya Koshik and Harichandra shone in the speech competition by holding the 1st and 2nd position respectively while Sunil and Aman shared the 3rd position.
In Poem Recitation, 1st & 2nd position were occupied by Brijesh & Komal respectively and the 3rd position was shared by Suman & Anirudh.
The event ended with the recitation of National Anthem by all.
