Theme of the fest: MEDIA and BODY IMAGE

Annual seminar and festival was organised by "Nafsiyat-Psychology Association of Gargi College."

The schedule of the fest was as follows:

10-10.15: Vandana
Welcome address by honorable pricipal Dr. Meera Ramchandran
10-11am: Keynote address by Prof Anand Prakash, Senior Proff, Dept of Psychology, North Campus
11-11.15am-coffee break
11.30-12.30: Prof Nimesh Desai to address the house on issues related to media and body image (Director IHBAS, Delhi)
1:00- Lunch
1.30-2:00: Paper presentation by students of the same dept.
2-3.30pm: Panel discussion on issues related to body image, role of media, family, peers. Panelists were Ms. Reena Nath, family Therapist, Ms.Ishi Khosla, nutritionist, Ms. Tejasvi, aspiring model and student ,Mr.Abhay Chawla, Media expert and social entrepreneur
3.30-3.45-tea break
3.30-4.30:Workshop on body image by sanjeevani society for mental health
4.30-Vote of thanks by the president of Nafsiyat.
