About PSPCL

PSPCL stands for Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), which is one of the two companies that the Government of Punjab divided the Punjab State Electricity Board into. PSPCL will be recruiting Assistant Engineers through GATE 2022.

Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) was formed in 1959 as per, and under the Electricity Supply Act 1948. After the reorganisation of the Punjab State, the government of Punjab split the Punjab State Electricity Board into two companies; Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd. (POWERCOM) and Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd. (TRANSCO). PSPCL will recruit Assistant Engineers through GATE 2022.

Education Qualification:

•  Interested candidates should be full- time graduates, B.E/B.Tech/BSc. in Engineering with at least 60% marks or equivalent, from a university/institution, which is recognised by the AICTE or the AMIE with at least 60% marks from the Institution of Engineers (India) Kolkata in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
•  Students in their final year, awaiting results or appearing for the final year’s final exams are also eligible to apply.
•  Interested candidates should also be qualified in Punjabi language, minimum till Matriculation level or equivalent.

Age Limits:

Age limit is 20 to 37 years of age as on January 1 2022. Age relaxation for categories will be applicable as per the government norms and regulations.

Salary Structure:

Candidates when recruited during the training period will receive a basic pay of Rs. 16650-39100, along with just travel allowance (applicable to the post).
