A projects and charts competition was organized by the Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology (JIET) as a part of the Open House event on 12th October at 9am at the JIET campus.
Arun Shanti Education Trust- Managing Trustee, Mr. Shashikant Singhi and Head of the Department of English and Dean of JNVU, Professor Sudhi Rajeev were the chief guests for the Open House-2015. Other dignitaries who were present included JIET Group Chairman Dr. S L Agarwal.
The theme of the event is ‘Make in India’ and some of the topics for the projects included:
- Smart City
- Environmental Sustainability
- Applications of Science in Society and Environment
- Smart and Energy Efficient Sensor based System
- Android Application
- Future Planning of Jodhpur as a Smart City
- Renewable Energy Resources
Around 200 working and non working models, 300 projects and more than 450 charts were displayed during the event.
