Prof. (Dr) BS Panwar, Professor, Centre for Applied Research in Electronics (CARE), IIT Delhi, has been appointed as new Vice-Chancellor of ITM University on June 2, 2014. He has taken this charge form Prof. Prem Vrat who will now be serving the University as Pro-Chancellor.
Prof. BS Panwar has been associated with different organizations like Honeywell Technologies, Bangalore, Motorola USA, Phase Devices UK, Biomorphic USA; and a visiting faculty to international universities like University of Regina, McMaster Canada, Delft Institute of Microelectronics and Sub-micron Technology.
He has been instrumental in initiating and developing courses on RFID, VLSI Design, Signals and Systems and much more in IIT Delhi. He also has a tight hold in writing in various journals and till now 60 of his papers are published in international journals and conferences. Also has been conferred with academic and excellence awards during his service.
University is very much hopeful and looking forward for constant educational growth during his tenure.
